Role:

On behalf of the client, we are looking for a Service Technician Refrigeration & Air Conditioning for nationwide deployment on mobile refrigeration systems. You will take on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of temporary refrigeration and air conditioning systems and ensure their reliable operation directly at the customer’s site. In addition to classic service assignments, your responsibilities also include technical customer support, fault diagnosis and proper documentation. The role combines refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical and plant engineering with a varied field service.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery and professional installation of mobile refrigeration and air conditioning systems at customers throughout Switzerland

• Carrying out commissioning, functional tests and system handovers

• Dismantling and retrieval of temporarily used refrigeration and air conditioning systems

• Performing service, maintenance and repair work on mobile systems

• Systematic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on refrigeration, electrical and mechanical components

• Carrying out repairs and overhauls at the customer’s site and at the service location

• Monitoring and optimisation of safe and energy-efficient system operation

• Technical advice and support for customers throughout the entire system deployment

• Checking refrigeration circuits, controls, pumps, fans and electrical components

• Documenting all assignments in digital service, maintenance and overhaul reports

• Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, environmental and quality requirements

• Participation in the on-call service for urgent technical assignments

Qualifications:

• Completed technical basic training, for example as a refrigeration system mechanic EFZ, heating installer EFZ, electrical installer EFZ or comparable qualification

• Professional experience in service, assembly or maintenance of technical systems

• Experience in refrigeration and air conditioning technology is an advantage

• Knowledge of electrical engineering, control technology and systematic fault diagnosis is an advantage

• Confident use of digital service tools, tablets and mobile work equipment

• Category B driving licence and willingness for nationwide service and on-call duties

• Good German skills, French skills are an advantage
