For our partner, we are looking for a Financial Accountant 80-100%. Our partner is an international company based in the canton of Fribourg, active in the trading and distribution of products for various industrial sectors. Operating in a dynamic and multicultural environment, it benefits from an international presence while maintaining a human-sized structure that promotes closeness, autonomy, and versatility. The starting date is to be agreed upon.

Your tasks with your new employer

• You ensure the complete management of debtor and creditor accounting, from transaction entry to payment follow-up and reminders
• You independently handle periodic closings and ensure the reliability of accounting data as well as compliance with deadlines
• You prepare financial reports for management and contribute to monitoring the main activity indicators
• You work closely with the CFO and support them on various accounting and financial issues, while participating in the optimisation of internal processes
• You perform reconciliations between front office and back office activities to guarantee the consistency and accuracy of financial information
• You are the primary contact for external auditors and prepare the necessary elements for the smooth conduct of audit work
• You join an evolving role allowing you, in the long term, to broaden your responsibilities according to your skills, interests, and the company’s needs

You offer your new employer

• You hold a qualification in accounting or finance and have successful initial experience in a similar role
• You have solid knowledge of general accounting and are able to perform closings independently
• You are fluent in French and English and enjoy working in an international and multicultural context
• You are comfortable with IT tools; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a real asset, as is experience with other financial ERPs
• Experience in trading, industry, or a raw materials-related environment is an advantage
• You stand out for your rigour, autonomy, and analytical mindset, while appreciating teamwork and interaction with various stakeholders
