Restaurant and Dining Room Staff

The Directorate of Real Estate and Operations shapes the hospital infrastructure of the future and is responsible for operational services around the hospital. The Hospitality department provides gastronomic services for the Insel Group 365 days a year. The Belp Hospital and Nursing Home is a modern, medium-sized facility with around 120 beds and a versatile infrastructure.

What to expect

• Advising and serving guests at the restaurant counter and residents of the nursing home in the dining room
• Operating the cash registers and handling billing
• Ensuring the presentation of goods at the self-service stations
• Organising events and preparing catering orders
• General tidying and cleaning tasks
• Assisting with minor preparation and setup tasks in the kitchen

What you bring

• You are a warm and engaging personality, with a touch of humour
• You enjoy direct guest contact and have a strong service orientation
• You have good spoken German skills and understand Swiss German
• You have professional experience in community catering or are motivated to learn
• You are willing to work in various shifts, including weekends
