Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
Our client is a specialised Swiss technology company that develops and provides innovative IT and communication solutions for business customers. With a focus on modern infrastructure, reliable systems, and individual customer needs, the company supports its partners in digitalising and optimising their business processes.

Responsibilities:
You manage the accounting of various group companies and ensure correct and timely financial reporting.
You check supplier invoices, coordinate payment runs, and ensure effective receivables management including dunning.
You prepare periodic financial statements, review balance sheet items for plausibility, and support the CFO with financial analyses and controlling.
You coordinate tax tasks such as VAT accounting and preparation of tax returns and liaise with HR regarding payroll and social security postings.
You create key figures and reports for the group, prepare financial data for budgeting, and develop more efficient and more automated accounting processes together with the team.
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and ideally further training in finance and accounting with a federal diploma.
You have several years of experience in accounting.
You are familiar with Swiss accounting according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER and have practical experience in preparing financial statements.
You are proficient with Business Central, other accounting systems, and Excel.
You work in a structured, precise, and solution-oriented manner, have very good German skills as well as good English skills.
