Your tasks:

In our projects, we focus on self-regulated learning, adaptive learning technologies, and learning analytics. To support our team, we are looking for a student assistant for the technical development of our digital systems. Your tasks include:

• further developing existing web applications in the educational sector
• connecting and integrating various systems and services
• developing, documenting, and maintaining interfaces (APIs)
• technically designing and implementing new functions together
• supporting tests, error analyses, and technical documentation
• collaborating on projects in the field of learning analytics and AI-supported learning technologies

Your profile:

• ongoing studies in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
• good fundamentals in software development, especially in web development
• ability to independently familiarise yourself with existing applications and codebases
• basic understanding of APIs, databases, and IT infrastructures
• interest in digital learning technologies, learning analytics, and AI applications
• structured and independent working style
• enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team

Knowledge in the educational sector is not required. What matters is an interest in educational issues and the motivation to help shape digital solutions for teaching and learning. The position is on a fee basis paid hourly and is initially limited until 30.06.2027. A long-term collaboration is expressly desired.
