Role:

A modern cloud landscape requires security, automation, and clear architectural principles. We are looking for a technically strong individual who not only manages Azure platforms but also sustainably develops them through intelligent automation and consistent security.

Responsibilities:

• Building and engineering secure Azure platforms for demanding enterprise environments

• Transforming existing on-premise systems into modern cloud architectures

• Developing migration strategies for infrastructure, applications, and services

• Assessing existing cloud environments and targeted modernisation of critical components

• Implementing cloud security architectures based on modern security-by-design principles

• Securing identities, workloads, network connections, and cloud resources

• Developing automated infrastructure deployments with Terraform and Bicep

• Establishing standardised deployment processes for reproducible cloud environments

• Automating operational and administrative tasks with PowerShell

• Integrating security policies and governance mechanisms into cloud operations

• Collaborating with network and security specialists in designing hybrid architectures

• Optimising Azure networks and their interaction with enterprise networking technologies

• Utilising modern automation and AI solutions to increase efficiency in cloud engineering

• Developing reusable solutions for future cloud projects

• Technical analysis of complex requirements and translating them into scalable cloud solutions

• Continuous development of the cloud platform based on modern engineering and DevOps principles

Qualifications:

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure in an engineering or architecture role

• Excellent knowledge of modern Azure services and hybrid cloud architectures

• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or comparable IaC technologies

• Excellent skills in PowerShell and automation

• Solid understanding of cloud security and Azure security services

• Experience with cloud migrations, landing zones, or comparable transformation projects

• Understanding of networks, firewalls, routing, and secure cloud connectivity

• Interest in DevSecOps, platform engineering, and automated operational models

• Strong technical understanding and enthusiasm for complex architectural topics

• Independent and structured working style with a high quality standard

• Microsoft certifications in Azure architecture or security are a plus
