Leadership Role in Purchasing (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF12,000 - 145,000Our client is an established Swiss industrial company specialising in the development and manufacture of high-quality machines and technical solutions. The company combines many years of experience with modern manufacturing technologies and places great value on quality, precision, and reliable production processes.
Responsibilities:
You lead the purchasing team and coordinate internal processes.
You are responsible for strategic and operational purchasing including order processing.
You develop supplier relationships further and open up new procurement sources.
You ensure delivery capability, quality, and adherence to deadlines.
You analyse purchasing costs and key figures and implement optimisation measures.
You are responsible for supplier evaluations and budget planning and work closely with internal departments.
Qualifications:
You have a technical basic education as a polymechanic, automation technician, or designer with further education in purchasing, SCM, or business administration.
You bring several years of professional and leadership experience in purchasing within a technical or industrial company.
You possess sound knowledge in supplier management and in opening up new procurement sources.
You convince through entrepreneurial thinking, negotiation skills, and strong communication.
You have business fluent German and good English skills; French or Italian are advantageous.
