Service Technician in Toolmaking 80-100% (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF75,000 - 85,000Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance and repair of machine tools at the customer’s site.
- Diagnosis and rectification of faults in mechanical, electrical and control systems.
- Instruction of customers in the operation and maintenance of the machines.
- Carrying out regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Close collaboration with the sales team to understand and meet customer needs.
- Preparation of service reports and documentation of completed work.
- Support in identifying improvement opportunities for products and processes.
- Participation in training to stay up to date with new machine technologies.
Qualifications:
- Completed technical EFZ basic training as an automation technician or polymechanic.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of CNC machine tools.
- Knowledge in mechanical, electrical and control system troubleshooting.
- Understanding of CNC controls and programming is an advantage.
- Independent, reliable and structured working style.
- Driving licence class B.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the service area.
- Very good German and good English or Italian skills.
