Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the project management of construction and infrastructure projects in a demanding educational and real estate environment. You represent user interests across all SIA phases and develop future-oriented work, learning, and laboratory environments from needs analysis to implementation. In doing so, you combine spatial and operational requirements with functionality, sustainability, and economic efficiency. The position also includes the development of usage concepts as well as the coordination of internal specialist departments, external planners, authorities, and service providers.
Responsibilities:
Management of construction, conversion, and infrastructure projects across all relevant SIA phases within the framework of user representation and planning and construction-accompanying facility management (PbFM)
Responsibility for the overall control of costs, deadlines, quality, and user requirements
Consultation of internal organisational units on space, room, and infrastructure issues as well as determination of future space requirements
Development and implementation of modern workplace, learning space, and laboratory projects from needs assessment to commissioning
Preparation of usage concepts, room programmes, functional layouts, and operational requirements as a basis for further planning
Conducting and accompanying needs analyses, feasibility studies, and variant assessments including evaluation of economic efficiency and feasibility
Coordination of internal specialist departments, user groups, operators, architects, specialist planners, authorities, and service providers
Ensuring professional interface management between construction planning, operations, facility management, IT, building technology, and user organisation
Planning and accompanying larger equipment, furnishing, and relocation projects including commissioning and handover
Preparation of decision-making bases, project reports, presentations, budgets, and forecasts as well as management of project documentation
Integration of sustainability, lifecycle considerations, and operational requirements into project development
Participation in the further development of standards, processes, and project management methods in facility management
Qualifications:
University degree FH/University in facility management, architecture, interior architecture, real estate management, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in construction, real estate, or facility management, ideally with construction, conversion, or workplace projects
Sound knowledge of SIA phases and Swiss construction processes as well as experience in user representation
Expertise in needs planning, space management, usage concept development, and room programming
Knowledge of workplace management, learning spaces, or laboratory planning is an advantage
Confident handling of common project management, cost controlling, and documentation tools
Very good German language skills spoken and written
