Operations Agent

Villars Loisirs et Tourisme SA is a company with around fifty employees spread across three sites: the Tourist Office, the Tennis Sports Centre, and the Ice Rink, Swimming Pool & Fitness Sports Centre. It is responsible for the proper operation of sporting activities and ensures information, promotion, and the tourist development of the resort, in collaboration with partners.

To complete the Ice Rink team, we are looking for a:

Your duties:

• Operate the ice resurfacer and ensure routine maintenance of the ice and facilities
• Set up equipment and ensure its storage (assembly and disassembly of equipment, ice preparation and removal)
• Manage the changing room, handle the rental of skates and ancillary equipment
• Carry out minor maintenance and routine upkeep of equipment and installations
• Welcome, inform and ensure the safety of customers
• Perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks in compliance with hygiene standards
• Ensure technical monitoring and water treatment of the swimming pool

Your profile:

• Federal VET Diploma in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Confidence in operating vehicles or machinery (experience driving an ice resurfacer is an advantage) and a valid driving licence
• Good mechanical knowledge and a strong interest in practical and manual work
• Flexibility in working hours (evenings, weekends, public holidays)
• Fluency in French (English is an advantage)
• Professional Pool Certificate and BLS-AED, an advantage
• Swiss nationality or valid residence permit

Practical information:

• Start date: immediately or by agreement, for a permanent contract of 60 to 80%
• Irregular hours depending on the season including evenings, weekends, public holidays and school holidays
