System Engineer Cloud & Automation (m/f/d)

The clients of our partner include national and international companies, publicly listed companies and family businesses as well as public institutions and private individuals.
Role:
An experienced individual is sought for a technically demanding environment who will help shape the stable IT operations while simultaneously driving the development of modern cloud and automation solutions. The focus is on Microsoft Azure, identity management, automation, and infrastructure as code.
Responsibilities:
Co-responsibility for the reliable operation of client, server, and cloud infrastructures
Planning, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT system landscapes
Participation in cloud projects and the automation of IT processes
Ensuring and optimising infrastructure services with a focus on Microsoft Azure
Integration and further development of Entra ID, OAuth, and other Microsoft technologies
Implementation of solutions in the area of Identity & Access Management
Development and use of PowerShell scripts as well as the Microsoft Graph API
Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code, for example with Terraform
Analysis and resolution of complex technical faults
Collaboration with internal departments in the introduction of new technologies
Maintenance and updating of technical documentation
Taking on deputy roles within the IT team
Qualifications:
Completed studies in computer science or comparable education
At least 10 years of experience in system engineering
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS, Entra ID, and OAuth
Experience with Microsoft Graph API
Very good knowledge of PowerShell
Practical experience in Infrastructure as Code, ideally with Terraform
Strong analytical skills and experience in troubleshooting
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Very good communication skills and the ability to explain technical contexts clearly
Team player with quick comprehension
Fluent German skills and very good English skills
