Role:
Quality does not begin at release but already during development. Shape modern software quality with automated tests, intelligent test strategies, and DevOps.
We are looking for a technically skilled individual who thinks about software quality holistically and actively develops modern testing processes further. The position combines test automation, API and database testing with agile development and CI/CD processes.
Responsibilities:
Development and continuous optimisation of automated test solutions
Design and implementation of test strategies for complex software solutions
Creation, maintenance, and further development of automated test cases and test scripts
Analysis of requirements and derivation of suitable test concepts
Execution of API, integration, system, and database tests
Automation of recurring test procedures to increase quality and efficiency
Integration of automated tests into modern CI/CD pipelines
Close collaboration with software development, product management, and DevOps
Analysis of test results and structured documentation of defects
Ensuring seamless traceability between requirements, test cases, and results
Setup and maintenance of reproducible test environments
Further development of test standards, quality metrics, and engineering practices
Support in release and deployment processes
Active participation in shaping a modern quality engineering culture
Qualifications:
Education, advanced vocational training, or degree in computer science
Several years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or test automation
Solid knowledge in test automation and test scripting
Confident handling of structured test methods and modern test strategies
Experience with API testing and database testing
Good understanding of software development processes and agile methods
Practical experience with CI/CD and DevOps concepts
Knowledge of GitLab, Jira, or Xray is an advantage
Analytical thinking and strong quality awareness
Independent and structured working style
Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with technical teams
