For our client, an established company in the field of track construction, maintenance and welding work, we are looking for several motivated
Welding Specialists (m/f/d)
What should you bring?
Depending on the role, we are looking for candidates with:
- Completed vocational training EFZ/EBA
- 2-4 years of practical experience in track construction - ideally in welding and grinding work
- External training: CH Thermit SoW-5
- Valid welding certificates (CH ISO 9606-1 111 / 114)
- Driving licence category B and BE
- Willingness for night, weekend and irregular work assignments
- Good physical condition as well as high safety and quality orientation
- Initial to comprehensive experience in team leadership (depending on role)
What can you expect?
A versatile deployment in the nationwide track and superstructure environment, with activities such as:
- Independent execution of aluminothermic butt welds
- Pre- and finish grinding of welds
- Execution of insulating and adhesive joints (NS + MT)
- Contract welding on carbon and austenitic manganese steels
- Support or leadership of a welding group (depending on role)
- Quality assurance, work control and reporting
- Maintenance of tools, machines and equipment
- Training and mentoring of new employees
