Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for project management and implementation of sanitary installations in diverse new build and refurbishment projects. You will take technical and economic responsibility for sanitary installations in residential, office, commercial, industrial and infrastructure construction and accompany your projects from the kick-off meeting to successful acceptance. The focus is on project planning, calculation and quotation, construction execution as well as customer care and new customer acquisition. The position combines sanitary technology, operational project management and entrepreneurial responsibility with a modern working environment, a company vehicle and a 4.5-day week.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of sanitary installations in new build, refurbishment and renovation projects from order placement to acceptance and handover
Planning and technical development of sanitary systems for residential, office, commercial, industrial and infrastructure buildings
Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality management including project budgeting, schedule monitoring and ongoing cost control
Calculation and preparation of quotations for sanitary installations taking into account material costs, assembly effort, technical requirements and market conditions
Preparation of specifications, material lists and technical tender documents as well as evaluation of tenders
Organisation, coordination and supervision of construction execution including coordination of assembly processes, personnel resources and material deliveries
Technical coordination with clients, architects, engineers and specialist planners as well as clarification of cross-trade interfaces
Leadership and coordination of internal assembly teams and external project partners to ensure efficient and professional project execution
Independent management of existing customer relationships as well as active acquisition of new construction projects and clients
Conducting site meetings and quality controls as well as monitoring compliance with applicable SVGW regulations and SIA standards
Processing of change orders, project modifications and additional services including commercial and technical coordination with clients
Organisation and support of commissioning, acceptance and project completion including defect rectification, final billing and handover documentation
Qualifications:
Completed basic training in the sanitary field, for example as a sanitary installer EFZ or building services planner EFZ sanitary
Further training as a certified technician HF building services, sanitary master HFP or comparable qualification advantageous
Professional experience in sanitary technology, ideally in project management, work preparation, calculation or execution of sanitary installations
Sound knowledge of sanitary installation technology as well as relevant SVGW guidelines, SIA standards and Swiss installation regulations
Experience in calculation, quotation and project cost control as well as interest in customer care and new customer acquisition
Confident handling of MS Office and CAD programmes for technical planning, project documentation and quotation processing
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for customer advice, project coordination and contract negotiations; driving licence category B advantageous
