Role:

We are looking for an experienced platform specialist with enthusiasm for automation, scalability, and modern system architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Technical responsibility for the design, operation, and continuous optimisation of complex Kubernetes platforms

• Further development of highly available container infrastructures for demanding enterprise applications

• Building and optimising automated software deployment processes using CI/CD and GitOps

• Development of declarative infrastructure concepts according to Infrastructure-as-Code principles

• Automation of system configurations, deployments, and maintenance processes

• Ensuring a stable Linux-based infrastructure in a demanding data centre environment

• Further development of modern platform architectures and standardisation of technical operational processes

• Integration of network components and infrastructure services into automated platform concepts

• Implementation of security, patch, and lifecycle management for critical system components

• Close technical collaboration with software development and infrastructure teams

• Analysis and resolution of complex error patterns as well as sustainable optimisation of platform availability

Qualifications:

• Higher education or degree in computer science, systems engineering, or a comparable field

• Several years of professional experience in Linux engineering and operation of complex IT infrastructures

• Solid practical experience with Kubernetes in a productive enterprise environment

• Very good knowledge of container technologies and modern platform architectures

• Experience with GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines

• Profound knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and declarative configuration

• Confident handling of Git and modern version control processes

• Good knowledge of network architectures and their integration into Kubernetes environments

• Understanding of highly available systems, scaling, and automated operational processes

• Ideally experience with tools such as ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform, or Ansible

• Analytical and structured working style as well as a strong quality awareness
