Role:
You want to support different customer environments, solve technical challenges holistically and further develop both classic IT systems and modern cloud and security solutions? In this versatile role, you combine engineering, operation and project work and accompany business customers from technical planning to ongoing support.
Several locations in Northern Switzerland
Responsibilities:
You plan, implement and support client, server and on-premises infrastructures for business customers.
You administer Windows Server, Active Directory, group policies as well as RDS and terminal server environments.
You support virtualisation platforms based on VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V as well as the associated server and storage systems.
You configure and optimise switching, VLAN, WLAN, routing, VPN and firewalls.
You manage Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID and implement appropriate identity and access protection measures.
You are responsible for technical solutions in the areas of IT security, endpoint security, backup and recovery.
You monitor IT systems with monitoring and remote management solutions and systematically analyse faults.
You integrate VoIP and telephony solutions, for example 3CX or Microsoft Teams telephony with corresponding SBC components.
You carry out migrations, system integrations and technical renewals and automate recurring tasks.
You evaluate new technologies and AI applications and assess their concrete added value for IT operations.
You take on the technical management of projects if required and coordinate implementation with customers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer science, ICT system technology or a comparable qualification.
You have solid practical experience in planning, implementing and supporting IT infrastructures in the B2B environment.
You bring a broad technical foundation and have in-depth knowledge in several of the following areas:
Windows Server, Active Directory and group policies
RDS / Terminal Server
VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
Server, storage and network infrastructures
Switching, VLAN, WLAN, routing and VPN
Firewall, IT security and backup & recovery
Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
VoIP, SIP and telephony
Monitoring and remote management
You analyse complex system contexts, methodically narrow down sources of errors and find sustainable solutions.
You work independently, in a structured and customer-oriented manner and quickly familiarise yourself with new technologies.
You speak very good German and understand Swiss German.
