Role:

You do not think of endpoint management in terms of individual devices but entire platforms. As a Senior Intune Engineer, you shape the technical architecture of the workplace in a modern Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. Automation is your most important tool, and you replace manual routines with well-thought-out processes. Your concepts set the standard by which operations and security orient themselves.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the technical architecture of Microsoft Intune and define standards, best practices, and operational concepts for the entire client landscape.

• With Windows Autopilot, you build zero-touch provisioning and standardise the lifecycle of end devices from enrolment to decommissioning.

• You define update rings, patch cycles, and release strategies for Windows clients and ensure controlled implementation.

• Additionally, you further develop software distribution, which you consistently automate with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.

• You develop security standards for Windows and mobile devices as well as compliance policies and endpoint security policies.

• Furthermore, you take on migrations and lifecycle projects, analyse persistent issues to their root cause, and test new technologies in proof of concepts.

Qualifications:

• You have several years of experience in client or endpoint engineering and have already shaped complex environments architecturally.

• MDM, MAM, configuration profiles, and device compliance are familiar territory for you, as are endpoint hardening and security baselines.

• You are confident with Windows 10/11, Windows Update for Business, and feature updates and routinely package applications.

• You enjoy automating complex processes by scripting, and experience with API-based solutions in the Microsoft environment rounds off your profile.

• In addition, you administer Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive confidently and understand how identity, endpoint management, and security interlock.

• You keep a cool head with tricky client problems, work in a structured and independent manner, and convince with business fluent German and solid technical English.
