As an IT Infrastructure & Workplace Engineer, you take on a central role in operating and further developing a modern IT landscape. You combine classic system administration with cloud and workplace technologies, ensuring that employees can work reliably and securely.
The scope of tasks ranges from Microsoft 365 and endpoint management to servers and user permissions, as well as IT projects and technical optimisations. You work independently, coordinate external partners, and support various departments with technical queries.
Responsibilities:
Support and further development of client, server, cloud, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure
Management of end devices, mobile devices, peripherals, as well as user accounts and permissions
Administration of Entra ID, Intune, and other Microsoft and infrastructure components
Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing measures to improve stability and IT security
Support with migrations, rollouts, and other infrastructure projects, as well as coordination of involved service providers
Responsibility for asset, licence, and configuration data, technical documentation, and planning of changes and maintenance
Qualifications:
IT training EFZ or comparable qualification with further education in IT at HF, FH, or professional certificate level
Several years of practical experience in IT system engineering and infrastructure support
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune, as well as experience with client and server environments
Knowledge in IT security, permission management, and administration of modern workplace infrastructures
Experience with IT projects, rollouts, migrations, as well as asset, licence, and configuration management
Very good German skills, high service orientation, and an independent, structured working style with a strong sense of responsibility
