On behalf of our client, a Swiss group recognised in the healthcare sector, based in Geneva, we are looking for a 100% Accountant for a temporary assignment of 3 to 6 months, followed by a permanent contract (Try & Hire).

You will be responsible for the accounting of several companies within the group and contribute to the reliability of financial information as well as the smooth running of accounting operations.

The desired start date is immediately or to be agreed.

Your tasks with your new employer

• You ensure the complete management of the general accounting of several companies
• You prepare quarterly closings and monitor accounts
• You check supplier and customer invoices, as well as bank entries
• You perform bank reconciliations, VAT returns and intercompany recharges
• You manage currencies and exchange rates, and participate in the calculation of ICC and IFD taxes
• You complete the necessary administrative forms and occasionally travel to the group’s different sites

You offer your new employer

• You hold a Federal Diploma or an equivalent qualification in accounting
• You have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a fiduciary or multi-company environment in Switzerland
• You are proficient with an accounting ERP as well as e-banking tools; knowledge of Abacus is an asset
• You are recognised for your rigour, precision and strong sense of confidentiality
• You are autonomous, organised, flexible and able to manage priorities effectively
• You have a good team spirit and are solution-oriented
