• collect and preserve cinematographic archives, whatever their origin
• ensure the growth, conservation, restoration and presentation of its collections
• establish a national museum and a cinematographic study centre

The Swiss Cinematheque is looking for a

Your missions within the IT and Digital Department:

• Lead and coordinate a team of four people
• Define, with the department head, the institution’s needs in terms of IT systems administration
• Ensure the evolution and maintenance of servers and storage
• Ensure the monitoring and maintenance of the network infrastructure
• Guarantee the availability of the HSM archiving system
• Ensure the security of the internal and external IT network
• Manage and monitor IT projects related to architecture, migration, security, etc.
• Conduct technological watch and propose improvements
• Ensure IT security

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in business IT or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position with team management
• Experience as a systems administrator (Windows, Linux)
• Skills in Microsoft AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO and services integrated with Windows Server
• Skills in managing LAN, WAN, VPN network components and firewalls
• Proficiency in Vmware, Proxmox virtualisation systems and backup tools Veeam, Bacula
• Good knowledge of IT security
• Good knowledge of deep archiving systems (HSM)
• Very good knowledge of French (spoken and written), German and English (good spoken skills)
• Curious, passionate, attentive to IT innovations
• Proactive and able to make proposals
