Power Platform Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Our Rocken partner represents selected companies that rely on an exclusive collaboration with ROCKEN when filling their key positions. The jobs published here are managed under an exclusive mandate and are sometimes not advertised on the public job market.
Behind the vacancies are established Swiss companies from various industries that are specifically looking for qualified specialists and executives. Through close cooperation with our partners, we not only know the requirements of the respective position but also the company, the working environment, and the framework conditions.
This gives you access to exciting career opportunities from our hidden job market and to positions that you might not encounter on classic job platforms.
Role:
Low-code only unfolds its strength when architecture and process understanding come together. This is exactly where you come in as a Power Platform Software Engineer, developing business applications based on the Microsoft Power Platform that truly make a difference in everyday work. In workshops, you listen carefully and question requirements. You consciously choose between standard and customised extensions. This way, solutions are created that remain stable, secure, and maintainable even after several years.
Responsibilities:
In workshops and requirements analyses, you clarify business needs and translate them into viable solution concepts.
You build Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps, write sophisticated logic in Power Fx, and keep the applications performant.
You design data models, business rules, forms, and role-based access directly in Microsoft Dataverse.
Additionally, you automate processes with cloud flows and approval workflows in Power Automate.
Furthermore, you integrate Microsoft 365 (M365), SharePoint, Teams, and external systems via custom connectors or REST APIs and extend architectures purposefully with Azure and chatbots from Copilot Studio.
You are also responsible for application lifecycle management (ALM) across separate environments, systematically resolve errors, and further develop standards.
Qualifications:
Several years of practical experience in solution development with the Power Platform, especially with Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, distinguish you.
You are confident working with Dataverse, from data modelling to permission and security concepts.
Complex workflows and Power Fx logic come easily to you.
You think in solutions, reusable components, and clean deployments between environments.
Ideally, you also bring know-how in Azure services, Dynamics 365, and bot technologies such as Copilot Studio or hold a relevant Microsoft certification.
You communicate fluently in German and English and convince departments with an analytical eye and consulting competence.
Benefits:
- Home office
- Experienced and dynamic team
- Interesting and varied tasks/projects
- Flat hierarchies
- Flexible working hours
- Open corporate culture
- Coaching and mentoring
- Attractive benefits in case of illness or accident
- Participation in or provision of company car
