Project Manager Sanitary (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Project Manager: Sanitary / Building Technology for an established Swiss company in the field of sanitary, heating and refrigeration technology. You will independently plan, organise and realise demanding sanitary projects in residential, commercial and service construction within the canton of Zurich. The focus is on technical project management, work preparation, coordination of construction execution as well as responsibility for costs, deadlines and quality. The position combines practical sanitary technology, operational site management and economic project management with regional construction projects, a 4.5-day week and individual training opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Independent management and execution of sanitary projects from technical planning and work preparation to completion and handover

• Planning and coordination of sanitary installations for drinking water, hot water, wastewater and drainage systems in new builds and renovations

• Technical and organisational work preparation (AVOR) including assembly planning, personnel deployment, material disposition and scheduling

• Operational site management and supervision of sanitary installations with regular site inspections and coordination of the executing assembly teams

• Project controlling and cost management including budget monitoring, handling of additional claims, performance control and project accounting

• Responsibility for material purchasing and procurement including supplier coordination, ordering and ensuring timely material availability

• Organisation and execution of intermediate inspections, functional checks and approvals as well as monitoring of proper execution

• Participation in construction and coordination meetings with clients, architects, specialist planners and other project participants

• Coordination of internal and external project processes between planning, assembly, suppliers, subcontractors and other building technology trades

• Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards and SVGW guidelines as well as requirements for drinking water hygiene, operational safety and installation quality

• Creation and maintenance of project documentation including execution documents, change records, test protocols and billing bases

• Quality assurance and defect management during execution as well as support during commissioning and project handovers

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a sanitary installer EFZ or building technology planner sanitary EFZ

• Several years of professional experience in sanitary technology with proven practice in independent management and realisation of sanitary projects

• Sound expertise in sanitary installations, especially drinking water supply, hot water preparation and building drainage

• Experience in work preparation, site management and project controlling including material procurement, cost monitoring and schedule control

• Good knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and SVGW guidelines as well as relevant technical installation regulations

• Confident use of digital project management and construction administration tools for documentation, scheduling and cost control

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical project processing and communication with clients and specialist planners
