We are looking immediately or by arrangement for the business unit Environmental Technology in the field of Construction Engineering in Zurich, Pratteln or Frauenfeld for a Construction Manager (m/f/d) 100%.

The Construction Manager takes on the operational overall management and control of complex infrastructure projects. He/She ensures that projects are realised within the defined deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements and acts as the central coordination point between the client, planners, authorities, and executing companies as well as the internal line organisation.

Your area of responsibility

• Project management and overall responsibility
  

  • Overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and implementation of construction projects in the plant infrastructure sector

  • Management of all project phases (preliminary project to handover)

  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines, cost budgets, and quality standards

  • Creation and monitoring of project plans and milestones

  • Ensuring transparent information flow
    

• Coordination & interface management
  

  • Central contact person for client, planners, and contractors

  • Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary project and planning teams

  • Interface management between planning and execution
    

• Cost and schedule management
  

  • Responsibility for cost planning, monitoring, and budget compliance

  • Support of tendering and awarding processes

  • Risk management and change order management

Your profile

• Professional qualifications
  

  • Completed studies as a civil engineer (FH/ETH/TU) with further training in construction management, project management

  • Experience in the field of plant and infrastructure facilities

  • Many years of professional experience in construction project management

  • Experience in handling infrastructure and large-scale projects

  • Experience with project management methods and tools

  • Knowledge of contract, change order, and procurement law
