Project Manager Heating (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Heating / Building Technology for an established company in the field of heating planning and technical building equipment. You will take on the independent planning and project management of heating systems from concept development through the tender and execution phases to commissioning and acceptance. The focus is on CAD-supported heating planning, technical system dimensioning, tenders as well as cost, schedule and quality management. The position combines technical project responsibility, energy-efficient building technology and interdisciplinary specialist coordination with development opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management of heating systems in new build, conversion and renovation projects from the concept phase to successful handover

• Planning and dimensioning of modern heating systems including heat load calculations, pipe network dimensioning, hydraulic design and system optimisation

• Creation of concept, design and execution plans with CAD systems in 2D and 3D as well as coordination of technical planning documents

• Preparation of offers, tenders and tender documents including specifications, technical specifications and bid comparisons

• Project responsibility from tender submission to acceptance including scheduling, resource coordination, cost control and quality assurance

• Support of the department management in complex building technology projects as well as independent handling of technical and organisational sub-projects

• Coordination of project staff, specialist planners, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure professional project execution

• Technical advice and support for clients and customers in the selection and optimisation of energy-efficient heating systems

• Development of sustainable heating and energy concepts with a focus on heat pumps, renewable energies, heat distribution and energy optimisation

• Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, cantonal energy laws and technical quality requirements

• Accompanying execution, commissioning and system acceptance including technical inspections, defect management and project documentation

• Technical and spatial specialist coordination with architecture, ventilation, sanitary, electrical planning and building automation

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a building services planner heating EFZ with further training as a technician HF building services, FH engineer or heating master

• Several years of professional experience in heating planning and project management with independent handling of building services projects

• Sound knowledge in heat load calculation, hydraulic design, pipe network dimensioning and modern heating systems

• Good CAD skills in 2D and 3D as well as experience in creating design, execution and coordination plans

• Experience in preparing tenders, offers and specifications as well as in cost and schedule management

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, relevant energy legislation and technical requirements for heating systems

• Good German language skills, spoken and written
