The organisation employs over 8,500 staff across several locations and accordingly has a demanding HR and payroll landscape with different professional groups, working time models, and employment relationships.
In this key position, you and your team will ensure professional and timely payroll processing for the entire corporate group. In addition to operational responsibility, leadership, social insurances, HR systems, and the continuous development of payroll processes are central. The current environment works with SAP HCM and places a clear focus on process and system optimisations.

Professional and personnel management of a specialised payroll team
Scope for shaping processes, digitalisation, and HR systems

You ensure reliable processes around entries and exits, salary changes, allowances, deductions, and other payroll-relevant changes.
All social insurance matters including AHV, IV, EO, ALV, BVG, UVG, and daily sickness benefits are professionally handled in your area.
You maintain professional oversight of withholding taxes and cantonally differing requirements.
You coordinate year-end tasks, salary certificates, and social insurance declarations and ensure their quality.
You are the central expert for demanding payroll, social insurance, and labour law issues.
Employees and managers are competently supported by your team with payroll-related concerns.
You are responsible for payroll analyses and reports and provide relevant information for internal stakeholders.
Together with HR and other specialist departments, you continuously develop processes and interfaces.
You optimise SAP HCM processes from a professional perspective and accompany HR and payroll digitalisation projects.
In exchange with insurance companies, authorities, auditors, and other external partners, you professionally represent the payroll department. The current payroll organisation already covers professional responsibility for social insurances, EO benefits, reports, as well as process and system optimisations in SAP HCM.
