Role:
You are the technical authority when it comes to container platforms and delivery processes. As a Senior Container Platform Engineer, you shape the architecture of an OpenShift environment and advance it strategically. Automation is not just a buzzword for you but a lived practice. Your decisions set standards for development, operations, and security. At the same time, you pass on your knowledge and thus strengthen the entire engineering team.
Responsibilities:
You define platform architectures, technical standards, and best practices and continuously develop them further.
Furthermore, you drive the modernisation and standardisation of the DevOps toolchain.
You build scalable release, test, and build processes, relying on Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) as well as GitOps.
You embed security and governance directly into the platform, including clear compliance requirements.
You evaluate new technologies and are responsible for their introduction from the idea to productive use.
Additionally, you lead technically during critical disruptions, mentor colleagues, and advise development and IT security.
Qualifications:
You bring several years of solid experience in platform engineering or DevOps environments.
You are confident working with Kubernetes and other container platforms, especially OpenShift.
You use tools like Git, ArgoCD, Tekton, or TeamCity routinely, as well as registries like Harbor.
For monitoring and logging, you rely on solutions like Sentry or ELK and create true observability.
Furthermore, you design stable, scalable architectures and consistently consider compliance in the deployment environment.
You are characterised by decisiveness, high ownership, and the ability to convey knowledge appropriately to the target audience.
