In this role, you act as the central interface between business and IT and drive innovative IT projects from the outset. You take professional responsibility for a defined IT area and ensure that local and central applications harmonise optimally with business processes. You analyse the needs of various business units, translate them into clear IT requirements, and initiate appropriate solutions. You actively promote the standardisation and optimisation of processes and ensure that all IT solutions meet local requirements. At the same time, you work closely with international stakeholders and ensure seamless coordination across organisational and geographical boundaries.
Responsibilities:
You are the central interface between the business department and IT and develop solutions together with the business teams that sensibly combine professional requirements and technical possibilities.
You analyse existing business processes, identify optimisation potentials, and translate business needs into concrete IT requirements.
You accompany applications and digital solutions throughout their entire lifecycle – from further development through changes to the introduction of new functions.
You take responsibility for a defined IT area and ensure that the applications used in the local environment are used efficiently, securely, and purposefully.
You coordinate requirements, releases, and adjustments with central IT teams, local contacts, and external service providers and bring together different interests.
You ensure that security requirements, IT standards, and governance requirements are met and that local particularities are appropriately considered.
You promote knowledge transfer within the organisation, establish clear processes, and ensure understandable and up-to-date documentation.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field.
You have several years of experience at the interface between business and IT, for example as a business analyst, IT consultant, application manager, or solution specialist.
You understand business processes and can derive structured requirements and practical IT solutions from them.
Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, or SCM solutions as well as with integrations and interfaces is an advantage.
You have experience in coordinating projects, changes, or cross-departmental initiatives and navigate confidently in complex stakeholder structures.
An independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style as well as strong communication skills characterise you.
You communicate very well in German and English and feel confident in an international, intercultural environment.
