Designer Plant Construction (m/f/d)

As a Designer in Plant Construction, you develop and oversee the design of technical units for complex helium liquefaction plants. You combine solid CAD skills with technical understanding, ensuring precise and standard-compliant plant construction in an international environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and Construction: Responsibility for the design, construction, and detailing of panels, construction site environments, and other operational units in the context of helium liquefaction plants
Creation of Manufacturing Documents: Preparation of assembly and manufacturing drawings in the 3D CAD system (Inventor) based on documents from the project manager and specialist departments
Standards and Guidelines: Consideration and implementation of relevant internal and external standards to ensure compliance with standards
Material Procurement: Collaboration with purchasing for material coordination and procurement of construction components
Qualifications:
Education: Completed training as a Designer EFZ, ideally with further training as a Mechanical Technician HF
Professional Experience: Several years of experience as a designer in process plant construction or in the field of pressure equipment
Knowledge of Standards: Familiar with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and ideally the ASME Code
CAD Skills: Very good knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably with Inventor
Language Skills: Good English skills spoken and written (at least level B2)
