Certified Medical Assistant

For our client, a medical practice in Lausanne, we are looking for a medical assistant for a permanent or fixed-term position (according to preference).

Your main duties

• Welcoming and caring for patients: Managing reception, telephone switchboard, appointment scheduling, and patient follow-up.

• Technical acts and care: Blood draws, laboratory samples, injections, electrocardiograms (ECG), dressing application, and assistance during minor surgical procedures.

• Administrative management: Maintaining and updating electronic medical records, drafting medical correspondence, coding and billing of services (TARMED).

• Practice logistics: Sterilisation of instruments, management of medical supplies stock, and cleaning of treatment rooms according to current hygiene standards.

• Holder of a certified medical assistant diploma (or equivalent recognised by the Swiss Red Cross).

• Proven experience in a medical practice or care centre is an advantage.

• Comfortable with IT tools and proficient in medical management software.

• Good interpersonal skills, empathy, tact, and strict respect for professional confidentiality.

• Strong organisational skills, thoroughness in work, and good stress management during busy periods.
