Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, a modern clinic with a public service mandate in healthcare in the Basel region, we are looking to strengthen the financial accounting team with a financial accountant. You will manage the general ledger of the parent and subsidiary companies, prepare financial statements and reports, and support budgeting and the internal control system. The position offers you meaningful work in a family-like environment where people are at the centre.
Responsibilities:
You manage the general ledger of the parent and subsidiary companies including intercompany reconciliations
You prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER including financial reports, key figures and various reports (group MIS and subsidiaries)
You manage fixed asset accounting according to REKOLE and Swiss GAAP FER
You prepare quarterly VAT returns including annual reconciliation
You review investment and project budgets and assist with the overall budget
You participate in the implementation and review of the internal control system (ICS) and provide administrative and project support
You deputise for and support accounts payable and receivable management (approx. 30%)
Qualifications:
You have completed commercial training with further education in finance and accounting or a business degree (e.g. specialist in finance and accounting, expert in accounting and controlling or equivalent)
You bring several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, preferably in healthcare
You have very good user knowledge of common MS Office programmes, especially Excel
You work independently, precisely and in a structured manner, think holistically and remain resilient even in hectic times
You are open, communicative, a team player and appreciate contact with different stakeholders
