About the job
The Emma Couvreu Childhood Foundation since 1829 is actively committed to the reception, protection and support of minors at risk in their development. Our services are aimed at children and also their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with values that we embody daily. Our activities are fully aligned with the minor protection policy established by the State of Vaud. With its strong commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 outpatient units, employing more than 250 collaborators.
The main mission of the Day Socio-educational Reception (ASEJ) is to develop and support the conditions necessary for the child’s developmental recovery and to support parents in exercising their parenting in order to promote the child’s maintenance in their family environment.
Within this framework, the ASEJ protection measure aims to provide socio-educational assistance to families struggling with their child’s upbringing. This is expressed, on the one hand, by specialised educational reception and support for children aged 6 to 16 and, on the other hand, by support for the family system and within the primary network.
The proposed support takes place from Monday to Friday during school periods, as well as every other Saturday and part of the school holidays. Children are welcomed at lunchtime and in the afternoon between school return and 6pm. Outreach work (at home or within the primary network) mainly takes place outside the children’s reception hours at the facility.
As part of the evolution of the cantonal ASEJ mission, we are pleased to open a new position within one of our ASEJs:
