Role:
Build the technical platform on which modern software teams can work faster, safer, and more automated.
We are looking for a technically strong personality with enthusiasm for Kubernetes, containers, and automation. The position offers the opportunity to help shape modern platform architectures and elevate development processes through self-service, automation, and standardised toolchains.
Responsibilities:
Build and continuously develop modern container and Kubernetes platforms
Develop scalable platform services for software development and deployment
Design and implement automated CI/CD workflows
Build self-service solutions for developer teams
Automate provisioning, configuration, deployments, and operational processes
Develop standardised infrastructure and deployment patterns
Further develop existing Linux and virtualisation environments
Integrate container platforms into existing enterprise infrastructures
Define technical standards and best practices for platform engineering
Optimise development and delivery processes through infrastructure as code
Evaluate new technologies in Kubernetes, cloud native, and automation
Provide technical support for architectural decisions and platform migrations
Promote reliability, security, and observability within the platform
Qualifications:
Education, degree, or comparable practical experience in computer science
Practical experience with Kubernetes and modern container technologies
Very good knowledge of the Linux environment
Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps
Solid knowledge in automation and configuration management
Experience with Ansible or comparable automation solutions
Understanding of modern software delivery and DevOps principles
Knowledge of virtualisation with VMware, Nutanix, Proxmox, or comparable technologies is an advantage
Interest in cloud-native architectures and modern platform concepts
Enjoyment of standardisation, automation, and technical development
Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
