In the security organisation of the SBB, you take responsibility for the further development of security in a versatile company. In the Security business unit, you combine strategic issues with effective implementation in the 2nd Line of Defence and work closely with specialists and managers both inside and outside the SBB. You can expect a challenging area of responsibility with scope for design, where you can contribute and further develop your leadership experience and security knowledge. You play a central role in Security Risk Management. Together with your partners, you develop solutions that protect people, facilities and operations, thereby making a tangible contribution to the reliability of public transport.

This is what you can achieve.

• As Specialist Manager: Integrated Security, you develop security management in your area of responsibility and align it with the SBB’s strategy, risks and objectives, thereby strengthening the protection of people, facilities and operations.
• You identify and assess security risks, derive appropriate measures and check implementation and effectiveness.
• You plan and conduct demanding audits, identify the need for action and accompany the implementation of improvements.
• You develop security concepts, guidelines and processes and ensure coordination across organisational boundaries.
• You accompany changes from conception to sustainable anchoring and take on the management of projects and subprojects.
• You advise managers and specialists on complex security issues, represent your specialist topics and promote knowledge transfer.

This is what you bring with you.

• With a high sense of responsibility and confident communication, you convince at all hierarchical levels and work cooperatively with different stakeholders.
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking as well as a structured way of working help you to translate complex issues into effective solutions.
• You bring several years of experience in the security industry at a strategic level, have expertise in at least one area of physical security and skilfully integrate modern IT tools including AI into work processes. Good legal knowledge and experience at officer level in the army or police are advantageous.
• You are experienced in the development and control of security management, as well as in risk management.
• You know the basics of project, programme and process management. Experience with agile working methods such as SAFe is an advantage.
• A university degree at FH or university level or an equivalent qualification distinguishes you and you have German language skills at least at C1 level and French at least at B2 level.
