Role:
As a Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer, you help shape how a modern cloud platform grows securely. In the cloud platform team, you bring protection measures from the idea to technical implementation. A central cyber security team supports you in this. Those seeking technical depth and who enjoy working in agile structures will find plenty of scope here.
Responsibilities:
You translate security requirements into concrete technical solutions within the Azure environment.
You analyse threats and risks to the platform and derive effective protection measures from them.
Furthermore, you support projects and operational initiatives in clarifying protection needs.
You develop security concepts and standards and keep them up to date.
Additionally, you automate recurring security checks.
You also document solution approaches comprehensibly and share your know-how.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science or cyber security as well as relevant certifications.
Several years of practical experience in the security field with a focus on cloud shape your career.
You are familiar with cloud services at the IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS levels, including the associated security services.
Automation with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines is part of your skill set.
Furthermore, you score with experience in offensive security, such as audits or penetration testing. Knowledge of Kubernetes or Identity and Access Management (IAM) rounds off your profile.
You also convince as a communicative personality with an analytical eye and express yourself clearly in both German and English.
