System Engineer Microsoft (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you are responsible for the stable and secure operation of ICT systems and ensure that all components work reliably together. You analyse complex system environments, identify optimisation potential, and implement appropriate technical measures. You plan and realise ICT solutions, coordinate adjustments, and accompany their introduction into existing infrastructures. Additionally, you monitor the systems, efficiently resolve faults, and ensure that defined standards and best practices are adhered to. As a professional, you bring your experience to bear to ensure high availability and quality of ICT services.
Responsibilities:
- You independently support and develop our existing and future customers in the SME environment
- In this role, you take responsibility from the first contact through on-site analysis to the planning of on-premise or cloud infrastructures
- As an ICT system engineer, you implement infrastructure solutions and ensure ongoing operation for your customers
- You work closely with the ServiceDesk team, which supports you with monitoring managed services and handling daily customer requests
- In this role, you share your experience in the wiki and in weekly knowledge exchanges to promote a high degree of automation and standardisation
- As an ICT system engineer, you actively contribute to the evaluation of new technologies and IT security approaches and help shape decision-making processes
Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed training in IT or telematics, with or without further education (MCSE, university of applied sciences, or similar).
- You have several years of professional experience with Microsoft Server, possibly cluster and RDS infrastructures.
- You bring a broad range of knowledge, lessons learned, and experience around Microsoft products such as AD, Azure, Entra, and OS.
- You have a passion for telephone and personal customer support and enjoy working in a team.
- In critical situations, you remain calm, take the lead, and focus on problem-solving.
- You are characterised by an independent, service- and solution-oriented working style, high reliability, discretion, very good German and good English skills, and hold a category B driving licence.
