You will join a small team to support employees in their daily use of IT tools. You will work primarily in a Microsoft environment, interacting with a variety of stakeholders, from production teams to management.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide on-site IT support to employees and handle incidents and service requests.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to workstations, software, peripherals, and network connections.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment in a Microsoft environment.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding: prepare workstations, install tools, and manage access according to internal procedures.
- Explain solutions to users and train them in the use of equipment and applications.
- Document interventions and resolutions in the ticket management tool, ensuring thorough follow-up.
- Analyse complex problems methodically and involve the appropriate teams when their intervention is necessary.
- Participate in IT asset management, inventory maintenance, and equipment lifecycle tracking.
- Collaborate with local and central IT teams and regularly communicate progress on requests.
- Apply internal procedures and IT security rules.
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
- Education in IT or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven initial experience in on-site IT support.
- Good general skills in Microsoft environments, IT hardware, software, and networks.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a logical, structured, and pragmatic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: listening, teaching, courtesy, and the ability to adapt your language to any type of interlocutor.
- Calm and professional attitude, including in emergencies and under pressure.
- Service-oriented, autonomous, team spirit, and ability to become operational quickly.
- Proficiency in French and professional English to communicate with international teams.
- Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) tools is an advantage.
- Valid driving licence and availability for some travel within the canton of Vaud; a personal vehicle is not necessary.
- Availability from December 2026 for the entire duration of the assignment.
