Asset Manager - Thermal Assets (m/f) 80-100%

Our Energy business unit is tasked with optimising all energy production and management activities, including renewable energy production from sources such as biomass, wind, hydro, photovoltaic and geothermal. To complement our Thermal Service teams, we are looking for a candidate for our Morges site:

Profile

• HES/EPF engineer or equivalent training in energy, thermal, mechanical or industrial fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operation, maintenance or performance management of energy or industrial installations
• Experience with thermal installations, biomass, district heating networks or similar industrial processes is an advantage
• Proven experience in financial asset management and OPEX budget control
• Strong skills in analysing technical, economic and energy performance
• Proficiency with SAP, CMMS, Excel and reporting tools
• Knowledge of operational risk management and contractual management of service providers
• Analytical mindset, results-oriented and ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Organisational skills, autonomy, interpersonal ease and excellent command of French (English or German is an advantage)

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and control the OPEX budget for thermal assets
• Ensure monitoring of the technical and economic performance of the installations under your responsibility
• Identify performance gaps, conduct root cause analyses and define corrective action plans
• Develop, manage and monitor the annual maintenance plan for the installations
• Optimise availability, reliability and efficiency of the installations
• Monitor operational risks, define appropriate mitigation measures and oversee their implementation
• Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance of the installations
• Develop OPEX assumptions and monitor Business Plans for mature assets
• Identify, prioritise and implement continuous improvement actions
• Monitor fuel quality and analyse its impact on installation performance
• Coordinate interfaces with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
