Project Buyer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Management of all purchasing aspects of the assigned projects
- Collaboration with project teams and raw material buyers
- Ensuring the best total cost of ownership
- Creation and management of the project purchasing plan
- Tracking material costs against budget at goods and project level, including potential risks and opportunities
- Coordinating project-related activities to reduce material costs and aligning with the overall plan to improve the project
Qualifications:
- University degree in engineering or equivalent vocational training with further education
- Project management experience in a similar industry with technical expertise
- Several years of experience in purchasing (cost analysis, purchasing strategy, negotiation skills)
- Legal understanding of contractual agreements
- Experience dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proactive, open-minded approach with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all functions within the company
- Fluent German and English skills
