We are looking for our Production department an Operational Manager for Steam and Utilities Production

Your mission:
As operational manager for steam and utilities production, you assist the head of the department in the daily management of activities. A true coordination point between production teams, support services and partners, you directly contribute to the reliability, performance and continuous improvement of all installations necessary for the production and distribution of steam and utilities in the Monthey industrial park.



Your activities:

• Coordinate operational activities related to the production and distribution of steam and utilities, respecting safety and environmental protection requirements
• Build and coordinate the operational planning with production teams and support services to ensure continuity and reliability of installations
• Monitor operational performance using relevant indicators, analyse deviations and propose necessary actions
• Prepare elements useful for decisions and facilitate the department head’s arbitrations
• Foster collaboration between teams and ensure smooth information flow among the various stakeholders
• Identify operational skills needs and contribute, with the department head and team leader, to maintaining and developing the know-how necessary for operations
• Ensure availability and updating of operational documentation
• Coordinate operational interfaces with internal and external partners
• Drive continuous improvement plans and coordinate implementation of corrective measures in case of deviations
• Ensure, when necessary, continuity of operational coordination in the absence of the department head, within defined delegations

• An engineering degree (EPFL or HES) or equivalent training
• Proven experience in an industrial environment in the field of energy or utilities production
• An open personality towards change and innovation, capable of taking initiatives and adapting to an evolving context
• Good communication and negotiation skills with our various partners
• The ability to face operational challenges, being action-, results- and continuous improvement-oriented
