Role:
Our client is a corporate group in the steel and metal trade sector, specialising in the procurement, processing and distribution of steel products and other metal materials. The company supports customers from various industries with a versatile range, tailored solutions and reliable material supply. Responsibilities:
You independently carry out payroll runs and ensure that all changes are processed correctly and on time in Abacus.
You take care of the withholding tax including monthly settlements and assist with payroll closing tasks at the end of the month and year.
You are responsible for creating payroll statistics, evaluations and reports, prepare data for the personnel cost budget and support the monthly expense processing.
You answer questions on payroll and social insurance topics, monitor the validity of work and residence permits and ensure correct data and compliance with all relevant regulations.
You maintain collaboration with HR, financial accounting and external bodies, take on administrative HR tasks such as onboarding and offboarding or contract changes when needed, and contribute ideas for the further development and digitalisation of processes.
Qualifications:
You have a commercial education and an HR further education with a federal diploma or an equivalent qualification in payroll or social insurance.
You have solid, several years of practical experience in independently handling all Swiss payroll processes, including year-end closing.
You are well versed in Swiss social insurances and withholding tax.
You are characterised by a reliable, careful and structured way of working, handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and enjoy working in a team.
Very good German language skills are required.
