ARCHITECT (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for architectural planning, project development, and execution planning of demanding building projects in an innovative architectural environment. You will independently handle a variety of new build, conversion, and renovation projects and accompany them from design development through technical project planning to construction realisation. The focus is on constructive detailed planning, BIM-supported architectural planning with ArchiCAD, interdisciplinary specialist planner coordination, as well as sustainable and resource-conserving construction concepts. Responsibilities:

• Independent project handling as project architect for demanding new build, conversion, and renovation projects in residential, commercial, and public building construction

• Architectural planning according to SIA phases with a focus on construction project, approval procedures, tendering, and execution planning

• Creation of working and execution plans including floor plans, sections, facades, and technically precise detailed drawings

• Constructive detail development with planning of building envelopes, facade connections, material transitions, and complex component constructions

• BIM-supported architectural planning with ArchiCAD including creation, maintenance, and coordination of digital building models and planning documents

• Implementation of architectural design concepts ensuring design quality and constructive consistency from design to execution

• Sustainable construction planning and materialisation integrating resource-conserving building materials, energy-efficient constructions, and lifecycle-oriented planning solutions

• Coordination and technical leadership of specialist planners with alignment of structural engineering, building services, building physics, and other technical interfaces

• Organisation and management of planning processes with structuring of project tasks, schedule monitoring, and ensuring efficient project execution

• Technical clarifications with authorities and specialist offices regarding building law requirements, approval procedures, and constructive issues

• Support during construction implementation including review of contractor and execution documents, handling technical queries, and assisting site management

• Quality assurance and project documentation with control of plan statuses, coordination of plan revisions, and structured management of technical project documents

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture degree from a university of applied sciences or ETH or a comparable recognised higher education qualification

• Several years of professional experience as a project architect in Swiss building construction, especially in working and execution planning of demanding construction projects

• Solid expertise in building construction, detailed planning, and materialisation as well as experience in the technical implementation of architectural designs

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD and practical experience with BIM-oriented architectural planning and digital building modelling

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and building law basics as well as experience in coordinating interdisciplinary specialist planners and execution processes

• Interest and ideally practical experience in sustainable building, especially regarding energy efficiency, resource-conserving materials, and digital planning methods

• Good to very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, project meetings, and communication with clients, specialist planners, and authorities
