Construction Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager for Building Construction / New Build & Renovation for the independent realisation of architecturally demanding construction projects. You will take over the operational management of the construction sites and ensure precise implementation of the planning while adhering to costs, deadlines and quality requirements. You will coordinate contractors, specialist planners and authorities and work closely with the architects and the client. The focus is on a high execution and detail quality, efficient construction processes and professional project management until handover.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of new build, renovation and refurbishment projects
Organisation, control and monitoring of construction sites and construction processes
Leadership and coordination of contractors, trades and specialist planners
Responsibility for schedule, cost and quality control during realisation
Preparation and processing of tenders and specifications according to BKP/NPK
Conducting offer comparisons, awards and contract processes
Review of execution, detail, specialist planner and contractor plans
Leading construction meetings as well as recording and following up on agreed measures
Checking quantities, change orders, extra work and contractor invoices
Coordination of interfaces between architecture, specialist planning and execution
Conducting acceptances, defect management and quality controls
Accompanying projects until handover and complete construction documentation
Qualifications:
Training as certified construction manager, certified technician HF construction planning, architect FH/ETH or comparable construction technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in construction management in Switzerland
Sound knowledge of Swiss construction practice and relevant SIA standards
Experience in tendering, awarding, contract management and construction cost control
Good knowledge of BKP/NPK as well as scheduling and execution planning
Experience with demanding new build, renovation and refurbishment projects
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
