Cashier/Receptionist - 100%

Aligro is an independent Swiss family business, composed of more than 1,000 employees spread across 14 sales points in French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland. Our unique cash & carry concept in the country is aimed at restaurateurs, retailers, and private customers. We offer a warm welcome, competent and personalised advice, a wide range of 30,000 items, and more than 2,000 promotions every week.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure a warm welcome to our customers, develop contact and provide professional service to our clientele.

Cash registers:

• Ensure a quick checkout, with rigorous and attentive scanning of products.
• Ensure the filling, rotation, and monitoring of products under your responsibility (stationery, workwear, candles), ensuring their availability.
• Ensure the security of the cash register area and control the exit of goods in coordination with the managers.

Reception:

• Answer the phone, transfer calls.
• Develop the existing clientele, handle and respond to customer requests and complaints with kindness and professionalism.
• Provide information and ensure follow-up of customer card requests, in collaboration with customer service.
• Perform and check the follow-up of transactions on the safe application, detect and correct errors.
• Send daily statements with supporting documents to accounting.
• Administrative management of gift vouchers, restau-clubs, and cash differences.

Your profile:

• Commercial employee certificate, retail management certificate, or equivalent training considered
• Proven experience in reception and cashier roles. We are looking for a smiling, motivated person, ready to learn and develop.
• Comfortable with numbers and customer service.
• Dynamic, rigorous, highly autonomous, and responsible.
• Very good presentation, flexibility (including Saturdays), and willingness to work in a team.
• Perfect command of French and common IT tools
