Lead Development Ruby on Rails (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 135,000Role:
Dive into the world of modern web development and shape complex applications as Lead Development Ruby on Rails from the idea to stable operation. In this role, you take on the technical leadership of projects, make key architectural decisions, and ensure high quality standards in the code. You are responsible for the design and implementation of performant, scalable backend services based on Ruby on Rails, integrating relevant interfaces and data sources. Additionally, you coordinate collaboration with other developers, share your expertise, and promote an efficient, clean development approach. Through continuous optimisation of existing solutions, you actively drive the technological advancement of the products.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the entire technology stack and life cycle of your Ruby on Rails applications.
- In this role, you develop and implement customised customer solutions as well as features for existing products.
- As Lead Development Ruby on Rails, you coordinate technical decisions within the team and ensure high code quality.
- You work closely with a young, competent team on demanding, technologically modern projects.
- In this role, you take on a great deal of personal responsibility and independently and proactively shape solutions.
- As Lead Development Ruby on Rails, you contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and architectures.
Qualifications:
- You have several years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with Ruby on Rails and SQL.
- You feel very confident working with Linux systems and command line tools (e.g. ssh, scp, vim).
- You enjoy working independently and constructively within a team.
- You have a very high level of proficiency in German, both spoken and written.
- You approach tasks analytically and structurally and value efficient, high-quality work.
- You present yourself in a customer-oriented, correct, and team-capable manner and are characterised by flexibility and discipline.
