To complete the kitchen brigade of one of the group’s restaurants at a private and high-end school establishment located in the Lausanne region, we are currently actively seeking their future
Sous Chef
Continuous hours - Monday to Friday
Job Description
In close collaboration with the head chef, you work daily with the brigade members to organise the preparation and service of dishes for this restaurant serving 600 covers daily as well as private events. You assist the chef in supporting the teams, helping them with daily operations and providing your consistency. Occasionally, you independently supervise the team of chefs de partie and commis to deliver banquet services. You propose original and realistic ideas to the chef to integrate into the commercial offers presented to clients.
Profile sought
To fill this sous chef position, you must have an initial culinary training validated by a diploma AND several years of experience in high-end hospitality. Your career includes various establishments, ideally in several countries, where you have acquired excellent technical foundations. You have a clear management method that allows you to take charge of this position, develop the teams’ talent and meet the expectations of clients and management. Mastery of English would be a real plus.

You will be part of a large, supportive and passionate kitchen brigade to bring innovation and consistency to the guests. As sous chef, you will have the opportunity to work on the ground and apply your management methods. Internal opportunities may be offered to climb the ranks in another group outlet.
