We are looking for one of our clients in the watchmaking sector, based in Geneva, and FOR A LONG-TERM TEMPORARY POSITION :
A Precision Mechanic to fill a position as a CNC milling setter in a production workshop
Job Description
- Series changes, setting up jigs, clamps and tooling, fine-tuning dimensions, and starting up CNC machining centres,
- Machining and inspection of manufactured parts, parts in various alloys
- Thorough inspections with traditional workshop measuring tools, and 3D inspection depending on the parts.
- First-level maintenance.
Profile Sought
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma in Polymechanics or Federal VET Diploma as a Micromechanic, Professional Baccalaureate or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering
- Solid experience in setting and producing large mechanical parts
- Excellent knowledge of reading technical drawings.
- Good knowledge in the use of inspection tools
- Basic knowledge of ISO programming
- Good mechanical technical sense to find quick and effective solutions.
- Comfortable with IT tools for production tracking.
- Good eyesight to comply with visual inspections of manufactured parts.
- Team spirit and cohesion.
