The Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Office Schaffhausen is the executing authority for the collection of monetary claims and the enforcement of bankruptcy proceedings. With a total of 31 employees, it processes around 27,000 debt enforcement cases and 200 bankruptcy proceedings annually throughout the Canton of Schaffhausen.

For the Debt Enforcement Office department, we are looking for a

Clerk / Administrator, 80-100 %

What to expect

• Handling all activities in the initiation procedure of the debt enforcement process up to and including the recording of continuation requests
• Counter, telephone, mail, and messenger service
• Issuing extracts from the debt enforcement register
• Providing information to creditors and debtors as well as authorities
• General administrative tasks

What you bring

• Completed commercial training
• Knowledge in the field of debt enforcement law or willingness to undertake specialised further training
• Fluent oral and written expression as well as good IT user skills
• Independent, precise and efficient working style
• Impeccable reputation, professional and confident appearance, assertiveness, resilience, discretion and team spirit
• Driving licence category B (electric car available)
