Role:

You ensure that employees can work securely and smoothly on any device. As a Microsoft 365 Engineer, you drive the operation and further development of the client and mobile platform in a Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. Your toolkit ranges from Intune to PowerShell, and you consistently replace manual routines with clean automation. You keep security and stability in view and significantly shape the standards of the workplace platform.

Responsibilities:

• You analyse complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support around enrolment, policies, deployments, and updates and sustainably resolve causes.

• You manage the update strategy with Windows Update Rings, feature and quality updates, as well as client patch management.

• Furthermore, you expand device configurations, compliance, and endpoint security policies for Windows, iOS, and Android, thereby strengthening the security of end devices.

• You prepare applications as packages and distribute them automatically via Intune.

• You script recurring processes and automate technical onboarding and offboarding, including licences, permissions, and device configurations.

• Additionally, you administer Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, implement changes, migrations, and lifecycle measures, and further develop standards and operating concepts.

Qualifications:

• You have several years of experience in client, workplace, or endpoint engineering.

• You are proficient in Windows 10/11 and modern endpoint management with MDM, MAM, device enrolment, configuration profiles, and policies.

• You also have experience with Windows Autopilot, software packaging, and Windows Update for Business.

• You understand how endpoint security, identity, and collaboration services such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive interact.

• You routinely automate administrative tasks with PowerShell and independently resolve complex error scenarios.

• Moreover, you work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, express yourself confidently in German, and manage well with English in the professional environment.
