Project Manager Sanitary (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for project management in sanitary with a focus on building services engineering, sanitary planning and implementation of sanitary technical systems. You will independently handle demanding sanitary projects and accompany them from planning through tendering to successful implementation. The focus is on project execution according to SIA, cost and quality management, coordination with other building services trades, and advising clients and customers. The position offers a responsible field of activity with a high degree of independence and the opportunity to maintain existing customer relationships and actively develop new projects.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management and planning of sanitary technical systems for demanding construction and building services projects

• Project processing according to SIA phases and internal quality standards from design to realisation and handover

• Technical conception and dimensioning of sanitary installations taking into account project-specific requirements and applicable Swiss regulations

• Conducting client meetings and buyer sessions with advice on technical solutions, equipment options and project requirements

• Project controlling with preliminary, ongoing and final costing to ensure agreed cost and economic targets

• Preparation of tenders and specifications for sanitary technical installations and systems

• Support in the creation and review of CAD plans including installation plans, schematics and technical detailed documents

• Coordination of sanitary planning with heating, ventilation and electrical trades to ensure coordinated building services planning

• Monitoring of project deadlines, costs and quality requirements with early detection of deviations and initiation of appropriate measures

• Technical coordination with architects, specialist planners, contractors and site management to clarify interfaces and execution questions

• Support of the implementation and quality assurance of sanitary technical systems with assistance in technical inspections, approvals and project completions

• Active customer care and acquisition of new sanitary projects by recognising market potentials, advising potential clients and maintaining long-term business relationships

Qualifications:

• Completed further education as a certified technician HF building services sanitary or a comparable qualification or willingness to complete such further education

• Extensive professional experience in planning and realising sanitary technical systems with a confident understanding of the requirements of Swiss building services engineering

• Knowledge of SIA planning phases and relevant sanitary standards as well as experience in technical design, tendering and construction execution

• Experience in project controlling and cost management with a strong quality awareness and economic understanding

• Good CAD user skills as well as confident handling of digital planning documents and common office applications

• Entrepreneurially minded, strong leadership and assertive personality with initiative, organisational talent and independent working style

• Good German language skills and strong communication skills as well as enjoyment in collaborating with clients, customers and the adjacent building services trades heating, ventilation and electrical
