Technical Assistant in Endoscopy

Reference: CLS/RH/2026.788 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: 8.5-hour shifts Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am earliest to 6:00 pm latest / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

Following the departure of a team member, we are looking for a new person to complete our service. A versatile position, in which the reprocessing of endoscopes is central.

What will you be expected to do?

• Contribute to the comfort, reception, installation and safety of patients in the interventional room and recovery room
• Assist the care team during endoscopic procedures, respecting protocols and safety measures
• Ensure cleaning, disinfection, and reprocessing of endoscopes and medical devices used (60% of activity)
• Apply protective measures in all required circumstances
• Contribute to stock management: restocking, organising and preparing the materials needed for interventions

Who will you work with?

• In Interventional, our team consists of 5 nurses and 4 technical assistants in endoscopy and outpatient service. It is a supportive and dynamic team, experienced and always eager to develop new skills and activities. The service’s motto is "Good humour, rigour and kindness".

What do we expect from you?

Essentials:

• Hold a Red Cross Health Auxiliary diploma (ASCR) or Level 1 Sterilisation qualification
• Some professional experience in adult acute care
• Good knowledge of hygiene, asepsis and safety rules
• Demonstrate versatility, organisation and flexibility
• Be able to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent adaptability and integration skills
• Rigorous, dynamic and autonomous
• Fluency in French

Your assets:

• Previous experience in endoscopy or medical device reprocessing
• Comfortable with a technical environment and medical equipment
• Professional curiosity and desire to train in a specialised field
